Old
MacDonalds Mobile Farm was proudly started in the late
1980s by Larry and Kathy Park, who owned and operated
it for 10 years. Old MacDonalds Mobile Farm was then
split into two, and sold as seperate businesses; Old
Macdonalds Mobile Farm and OMD Travelling Farmyard.
Upon the selling of the mobile farm, Larry and Kathy

OMD Travelling Farmyard is run from Helensville.
Old MacDonalds Mobile Farm was sold to the Abel family
of Waitakere in 2001, which they ran for about 6 years.
In June 2007 Old MacDonalds Mobile Farm was taken over
by Farmer Ben and Farmer Nicki, a brother and sister
team. |

Farmer
Ben as a youngster worked for Old MacDonalds Traveling
Farmyard going out on the trucks to schools, kindys,
birthdays and also worked at Kiwi Valley Farm Park when
it opened for Kathy and Larry Park. Then in his late
teens, Farmer Ben moved on in life and started up a
couple of small businesses. He has a great love for
animals and a passion for teaching children about animals.
He now runs Old MacDonalds Mobile Farm from a 15 acre
farm in Waitakere with his wife, Farmer Crystal. |

Farmer
Crystal has five years of University study under
her belt in the medical area. She is going back to University
in July 2009 to undertake a Bachelor of Health Science,
majoring in Advanced Paramedicine.
Farmer Crystal also works out on the truck with Farmer
Ben, but she also has her own unit (the ute and float)
she runs mainly during the Christmas period, but also
throughout the year as our secondary unit when needed.
Farmer Crystal also runs all the office work and is
most likely the person you will speak to on the phone,
or via email! Farmer Crystal also has a great passion
for working with children and animals and finds it highly
rewarding! |

Farmer
Nicki is the older sister of Farmer Ben and Josh.
She
began her own mobile farm company, "Farmyard Express"
several years ago and when the opportunity arose of
purchasing Old MacDonalds Mobile Farm, her company merged
into this and we took on the new name. Farmer Nicki
has a passion for all her animals, especially her horses,
miniature horses and dogs. Farmer Nicki is currently

Farmer
Josh is the younger brother of Farmer Ben and
Farmer Nicki. He has completed his secondary studies
in 2009 and is now on board with Old MacDonalds Mobile
Farm full time. He lives with Farmer Ben and Farmer
Crystal on their farm in Waitakere township, with
his Golden Retriever, Kyra.
